SDG 8 - Economic Growth and Decent Work - is one of the few SDGs that explicitly mentions tourism. However, the focus is on economic growth, which says nothing about the quality of employment. Jobs in tourism have become even more precarious after the Corona pandemic. Real improvements for workers are not in sight.
