Call for Applications: TO DO Award 2027

Tourism initiatives from around the world can apply for the TO DO Award 2027 until 31 July 2026. Presented by Studienkreis für Tourismus und Entwicklung e. V. since 1995, the award honours projects that actively involve local communities in tourism development and contribute to more sustainable forms of tourism.

The focus is on initiatives that promote participation, strengthen local value creation and contribute to social and cultural development. The award ceremony will take place during ITB Berlin in March 2027. This year's winners – WildyNess from Tunisia and 3 Sisters Adventure Trekking from Nepal – exemplify community-based and socially responsible tourism.
