Climate Justice in Tourism

Tourism is both: a catalyst for climate change and a sector propelled by the climate crisis. Its viability as a profitable economic sector hinges on its ability to swiftly transition towards climate neutrality. Climate justice in tourism means reducing emissions, enforcing the polluter-pays principle, and enhancing the value of tourism at the destination level.

Tourism Watch at ITB 2024

International Tourism Fair ITB

The ITB will take place in Berlin from March 5-7, 2024. Tourism Watch @ Brot für die Welt will once again be represented this year with joint stand no. 201 in hall 4.1 to seek exchange with the tourism industry and tourism policy. We will also be taking part in events on human rights, participation and voluntourism.
