EED TourismWatch will have a stall at ITB in hall 4.1 (stall no. 207) and will organise three events with a focus on human rights in tourism, as well as contribute to several others.

Tuesday, 8 March, 2011, 11.00, Press Conference (prior to ITB): In cooperation with human rights NGOs (Amnesty International, Survival International) and an activist working on child rights in Africa, EED Tourism Watch will call for a human rights approach in tourism. The press conference will take place at Hotel Albrechtshof, Berlin-Mitte (in German only).
Wednesday, 9 March, 2011, 13.30-14.30 on the small stage in hall 4.1: "Between Melting Glaciers and Social Responsibility" with presentations on "Melting Glaciers and Rising Sea-Level - Tourism in the International Climate Negotiations", "The Labelling Jungle - Social Certifications in Tourism" and "Fair Travelling - Pioneers of Fair Trade in Tourism".
